Fortunately, the story doesnt drag unlike Super Robot Wars; I find the banter to be quite interesting and I like the characters. However, the battles may feel dull because you are vastly outnumbered against weaklings. Id prefer it to have 7 on 10 with decent foes rather than 7 on 24 with 20 chumps, especially the scouts who barely damage you.

Otherwise, the combat system is pretty good, choosing to block, counterattack, or evade with special abilities. Only worth playing in small doses if you can tolerate fighting against a horde of the same weak enemies.
